Personal Thriving Assessment

LIVE Self-Check

LIVE is a framework that helps you and those around you thrive. This self-check is to help you diagnose if there are areas that are holding you back from thriving.

Scoring Guide

This guide explains how to score and interpret your LIVE Self-Check. The purpose is awareness, not evaluation. There are no “good” or “bad” scores—only information to help you notice patterns and choose intentionally how you want to grow.

Each question is scored from 1 to 5:

1 = Strongly disagree
2 = Disagree
3 = Neither agree nor disagree
4 = Agree
5 = Strongly agree

Questions 6, 12, 18, and 24 are reverse-scored because they describe experiences that reduce thriving.

To reverse a score, subtract it from 6.
Example: If you answered 2, record 4. If you answered 5, record 1.

Each LIVE dimension includes six questions. After adjusting reverse-scored items, add the six scores in each category and divide by 6 to get your domain average.

Love: Questions 1–6
Inspiration: Questions 7–12
Vitality: Questions 13–18
Expression: Questions 19–24

Add your four domain averages together and divide by 4 to get an overall snapshot of how you are thriving right now.

4.1 – 5.0: This area feels supportive and life-giving. Consider how to protect and sustain it.

3.0 – 4.0: This area feels mixed or inconsistent. There may be opportunities for intentional adjustment.

1.0 – 2.9: This area may be under strain or neglected. It deserves gentle attention and care.

Differences between areas are often more meaningful than any single score. Growth usually comes from noticing where your rhythm, melody, dynamics, or harmony are out of balance.

  • What stands out to you most as you look at your scores?
  • Which LIVE area feels most alive right now?
  • Which area feels most in need of care or attention?
  • What is one small, intentional step you could take this week?
